Falling
I saw the end.
I leaned over the edge I drew in a deep breath
and gazed into the mystery.
but when you took my hand,
my whole body went numb.
I went limp.
And we both fell from solid ground.
We were falling.
I felt so much excitement.
What lies at the bottom?
My mind soared as my body descended.
I could feel the wind pulling back my hair like ropes.
But I didn't know the ropes were trying to save me.
I felt nauseas and I opened my eyes,
noticing that my all time high had gone down to an all time low.
And when I looked around,
you were nowhere in sight.
This whole time I had been falling,
you stood on the solid ground.
High above me.
And with tears in my eyes,
I saw the end.
