The Perfect Arrangement of Atoms
The crinkle of our noses,
The vibrations from our stops,
And the racket of our laughter
Always happen when my friends come together.
Our smiles and cheers
And our cries and tears
Pull us towards each other.
Every day I notice something different
That makes each of them fit it.
I notice how they smile only by closing their eyes,
How they never seem to show emotion except in their eyes,
And how they will never tell me why.
Why I am a part of this perfect arrangement of atoms that they have created.
