Falling asleep at night, heart fluttering, tumbling, ever so gently

FIlled with pain watching myself  sail away

Gave you my heart you said you’d love me as much as Ariana loved Mac

Full of insecurities, walking beyond the lies you told

Lying beside you silently dreaming of what could've been

My thoughts of what could’ve been , It was only him in my head

Listening to my heartbeat , watching us slowly part ways

As jealousy destroys me, the blinding of love had a bitter taste

As we loved with a love that was more than love

The softness of his lips with a cherry chapstick smile and taste

This poem is about reminising times that used to be okay
