Unseen
I am the truth
That forces its way out
The words on someone’s
Lips
Never uttered
Always held back
I am your heart
The one that beats loudly
And constricts out of both
Hate and love
Imagine
If I wasn’t there
Imagine
If you couldn’t feel
I wear your face
But I am not a person
Not made up tiny molecules
That constitute a human being
Rather, I am a shapeless mass
That drifts through the sky
Reaching out
Trying to touch the souls
That float in the air
Suspended
No one knows it’s me
No one understands
That I control their lives
They should be afraid
For I am venerable
Omnipotent
But they aren’t.
