One True Friend
I once would laugh in the face of any
Who would tell me I’d ever find love this true.
But regardless of that which you should know,
I now can only picture myself with you.
It’s absolutely unbelievable,
To be accompanied with your care.
Something like this is valued beyond rare.
You make me laugh through stressful times,
And help me quit losing my mind,
When nobody else ever could.
On many occasions I’ve sat and pondered,
From where did somebody like you appear?
I ask for you now to remember always
That my love for you would never end.
For it’s merely impossible to replace you,
My one true friend.
