Silence
I wrote a thousand things on the leaves of my eyes
Lips that held the love never told to you
I am angry on myself
Why am I silent? I want to tell you.
I know my silence is my punishment
My heart ponders, I tremble like a leaf
But still I don’t know-
What’s my right to tell you?
I am in love with you,
I want to explore life with you, uncover your secrets.
I want you in my arms, to feel your pounding heart against mine,
Till my last breath.
I’ll even ask Hades to wait,
Just to see another smile of yours.
My silence is just sucking away my soul.
I have these flares of love, raging in my heart,
Listen to the rhythm for a second, what do you hear?
You are the reason for my living desire,
Quench my thirst, shelter me in your heart.
I crave for your love, I need the warmth.
