I open my hand
As the clock ticks by
With a mission in my mind
To reveal the truth that lies.

Pinky speaks out
I've never formed a triple bond
No matter how sweet
The forces between me and the elements are.

Ring speaks out
What pinky spoke
Bonds are falling
Because of my radioactivity

Middle stands alone
Like the solitary flower
I can bloom
Even when the others collect on the main branch

Index speaks out
I am a bad leader
Always tripping over permanent roads
Just making bad decisions.

Thumb speaks out
There is an oil crisis
The lamp weakens in intensity
At times there is not a drop
To ignite my inner flame.

This poem is about freely expressing your inner self and your past experiences with people, relationships, etc. I got the idea from reading an article on palm reading.
