There was a time when I was pure

There was a time when a promise meant the world

There was a time when honesty was all that mattered

There was a time when all was simple

There was a time when I knew what I felt

There was a time I felt simple

There was a time when I felt one thing

There was a time when looks didn't matter 

When we were younger all that mattered was you were kind

They tell you kindness is the key 

They don't tell you there will be people who are not kind

People who crush your hope

People who crush your dreams

People who are above you

They don't get you ready for that kind of thing

The teacher tells us to be kind at all times

Only when the teacher leaves so they strike

Only when it's you and them

You're told happily ever after exsists

No such thing as happily ever after

Life is no fairy tale

Everytime I hear someone say life can be perfect I want to shout falsehood

Fairtales are lies 

Learning is diffrent than thinking 

Facts are more than fiction

When you're young time is slow and fun is all you know

When you're young you're full of hope

Hopeful

As you get older things start to fade

You can't keep every promise

You're not always honest

You're not that pure anymore

You don't expect anyone to be kind

You're not so quick to trust 

You look back at these things 

Nostogic as you need to be

You're not as shiny

After 5th grade you see the diffrence in everthing

You stop being everyone's friend

After 5th grade you see a door

"Welcome to middle school" 

The door seems like nothing chnages but everything has

You open it and feel the diffrence

There are lockers

You see the older kids

No more chior solos 

You're not the teachers pet anymore

Homework is flowing

You try to re-open the door but it's too late

Every A a reward 

Every F a down fall

Every test an obstcal

Highschool is everything

6th grade is a breez 

7th becomes harder 

Your entire futer relise on 7th and 8th grade

Work hard

Study hard

When you were younger you hated nap time

You're older and wish for nap time

Any stage in your life rember

Time has effects

Everythings happens in time

I'll be diffrent in 2 months

They tell you not to change when you're younger
