Hitting rock bottom
Its nothing is what you say
Its something you push away
You tell yourself pain is your friend
At least its faithful and will never bend
When you become your very on disease
Feeding off on what brings you to ease
A wasteland is what you found
Inside your lungs breaking off any sound
And it continues
And it goes in you
And it ends and steals what lives within you
Is what I came to see
Is what left me to believe
Until I held it
Until I took it by the tail
Until I was sailing with my very own sail
I wiped it off like it were a peace of gum
Never did I allow it to have its fun
And now
Now my lungs be humming
Now my heart beats running
And now I can honestly say its nothing
