He was like a tidal wave
And I, the shore
He washed away the pain
Until my sorrows were no more
Showered in his love
I gasped for a breath
If this is what drowning feels like
Then there is nothing to fear death
He was the darkness
While I was the night
He promised never to let go
So I held on tight
We ran in the moonlight
Danced in the sky
Floating among the stars
Storing ever so high
Even when he is gone
Our love will still be pure
The memories of us will live on
And for eternity, they will endure
