Wood Pecker
There once was a woodpecker
Who lived inside an oak
He loved to peck into things
No matter how large or small
He once took down a mailbox post
Who’s owner chased him away
He also pecked down a beam
That was apart of a houses frame
One day he found a tree
The size of Mount Everest
Though he thought he had seen this tree before
He pecked at it anyway
He pecked and pecked
Until the tree swayed
It fell with a BOOM
The dust settled to the now calm ground
The woodpecker admired his work
Until he saw to his dismay
A hole inside the tree
That was once his home
