Imperfection

i fell in love with a boy
but i was afraid he'd see my scars
i wanted so badly to trust
in his eyes looked like stars
underneath all his perfection
were cracks all that i could see
held together by false emotions
turns out he is more broken than me
i was wondering what had happened
how did everything fall apart
his body was covered in horrifying bruises
but his wrists were like works of art
