Tainted World
Such a different world there is,
In the book Fahrenheit 451.
In this tainted world,
All the books were won.
The filthy government was the winner.
They gained happiness by burning books.
Oh such a tainted happiness.
Lovers of books were forced to hide them in their nooks.
Even in hiding the books were discovered.
Discovered they were by the "fire fighters".
The fire and glee shined in their eyes from destroying.
They burst into homes unwanted and lit their lighters.
The most dedicated lovers were forced to memorize.
They kept the books locked in their minds.
Infinite time it took.
To retain all the glorious lines.
Oh what a tainted government.
The destroying became their meaning and filled them with bliss.
Oh such a tainted happiness.
Even with the threat from the tainted, the books were defiantly missed.
