people hurting people, society built us upon false layers upon layers
you told me thinking about the world today is only for hardcore contemplators
you told me, thinking will hurt you, and you will fragilely fail with your productions
this world will break you, it's vicious, you can't be held up by your weak junctions
would it be rude if i admitted you're the reason for my cancellations?
would you rather i subtracted hope in dreams of celebrations?
because i become alone, i search for your approval
your deviant smile haunts me so i'm nocturnal
i float, i swim, wading in waters made from questionable tears
your words press into my skull, your voice mimics all my fears
did you hear yourself dictate such a derogatory speech?
or was your mouth just continuing on while you pulled away my happiness like a leech
my tongue today is held by crippled fingers tight
because your attention is something i want more than delicate life
