New babies of Heaven
A tragic turn of events,
Someone with a gun and a plan,
Parents whose hearts have a dent,
‘Cause the world was cursed with this man.
The screaming of those frightened babies,
Most of been ringing in his ears,
‘Cause he sent himself to Hades,
To hide from the sight of their tears.
But they’ve flown up to Heaven,
Sitting with Christ on a cloud,
Innocent life’s taken from them,
So horribly up in New-Town.
They’re all angels in my eyes,
Those beautiful twenty babies in the sky.
