Young Mother
Unwed mother to be,
Instantly stamped with scandal and deceit,
Wanting nothing more than to be loved,
by a judgemental world full of defeat.
But through silent whispers and tears,
She probably held her head up high,
Showing the world she has no regrets,
By marrying the man who stood by her side.
Then that momentous day arrived,
When her life was equally blessed,
By the person who brought them hope,
By just laying on their chest.
Her little fingers seemingly plucked at every-body's heart strings,
While her eyes glistened like twinkling stars in the sky,
Her smile is a lighthouse,
Bringing light to those who are lost,
By sharing happiness and laughter,
To every passer by.
A young mother finally found herself,
In the place she needs to be,
A permanent position as a mother and as a wife,
Has finally set her free.
