Staring
The barricades are breaking,
The walls are closing in,
The cave is crumbling down,
I fear that this might win,
Muscles nearly torn apart,
Bones are almost broken,
Heart is on the floor,
As if my life is just a token.
A token of achievement,
For those who rule over me,
A trophy, just a symbol,
Of what I thought that it could be.
The ground is only quick sand,
If only it would move faster,
This pain is growing far too strong,
This is a disaster.
Hurry up and take me,
As i wait to be devoured,
by the broken dreams I left,
Broken pieces upon me are showered...
The walls are closing in,
The barricades are breaking,
The smile is slowly crumbling down...
I can't continue faking.
Blank expression takes me,
Pain it fills my eyes.
My mouth is set in one firm line...
And I've given up, on the hope of cries...
