Gone Forever
Look at her!
Isn’t she amazing?
They would say.
Her precious face,
And oh! Her grace,
Gone Forever.
So many friends!
They all surround,
They scream,
LOVE ME
PLEASE JUST LIKE ME!
Gone Forever.
Listen. Her laugh!
Full of joy.
Didn’t it
Feel,
So real?
Gone Forever.
But her eyes,
The pain there
Can’t hide.
Everything stops,
And ambulance arrive.
Gone forever.
Pill bottle in her hand,
Is empty. Her body,
Is on the ground.
Shocked Faces,
And Empty spaces.
Gone Forever.
What had happened?
Wasn’t she the one,
Always smiling?
Their eyes spies.
All lies.
Gone Forever.
Crying faces, as she
Is lowered below ground,
Dirt on top
Flowers lay,
As organs play,
Gone Forever
She rests now,
Forever restless,
Still searching, but,
There lain,
She will forever remain,
Gone Forever.
