Summer...
Those days seemed like yesterday
I wish another one would start tomorrow’s day
But those were the best ones we had together
The memories will be easy to remember
And how could we forget them?

We
talked like there was no time
And wore colors that matched a lemon lime
Laughed at crazy, stupid things like we just don’t care
Got so close as if our bond wouldn’t tear
We were so free
Nothing could stop us from being you and me

We dressed
so cool
Because we weren’t in school
And we didn’t have to follow any rules
We just decided to have all the fun
On top of the world while we felt so young
Everything was so sweet
No one seemed to mind the heat
And there’s so much more

I really
wish those days were here again
Because we can add so much more next year
The day summer will be here
