There's a hole in heaven,
a leak near the gate.
Fire flows in,
churned by hate.

It's fueled by deceit,
depression, despair.
The loneliness of
a millionaire.

Used car salesmen
with faulty tattooed smiles.
Guilty convicts,
awaiting their trials.

I love you's on the lips
of deceiving young men.
A cold man's rating
on a scale of 1 to 10.

Mood ring skin
turning 13 shades of red.
Lungs too black and shriveled
to blow away the dread.

Spread a yellow tarp
over every awful thing.
The sanitary gauze
to fix the broken wing.

Glistening hope in the
midst of green eyes.
In your warm but trembling hands,
the solution lines.

There's a hole in heaven
where a light flows out.
A leak near the gate,
an end to our doubt.
