With feet like ice
I quake with feeling.
With squeaks like mice,
I shudder.

Sobs like fire.
A lone tear falls.
Breaking heart.
Down come the walls.

Though my voice fails,
I try to speak.
With hallow wails,
I'm breaking.

Sobs like fire.
A lone tear falls.
Breaking heart.
Down come the walls.

My knees are weak.
I cannot stand.
With tear streaked cheek,
I fall.

Sobs like fire.
A lone tear falls.
Breaking heart.
Down come the walls.

Falling apart,
I spill my sorrow.
Pour out my heart.
I broke.

...the fire's out...
...the last tears fall...
...broken heart...
...down came the last wall...

Would you like a side of epic with that fail?

I really like how you kept the one stanza throughout the whole thing. The last few lines made me want to cry, Tals. T.T It just makes me want to write something that can live up to your writing.
