Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
-Marianne Williamson

Doctors rushing everywhere
Yet am I left standing here
They attend to patients with care
But what am I? Am I clear?

No one notices the blood,
Or heard the screams
They don’t see me dying
Nor do they hear me crying

They rush past me
Everyone in a hurry
The nurses’ claiming patients
The doctors attend

What about me?
Can’t they see me bleed?
I got shot in the arm and leg
And have a bad bruise on the head

I could have internal bleeding as well
At any point I could drop dead
Are these doctors blind!?
I am a patient in need

If only they would slow down
They would see
That I am in need
They have to stop the bleeding

I take a seat, as I feel drowsy
All the hustle and bustle, so noisy
My eyes close as I slowly die
One tear falls out my eye

I wrote this a year ago and everyone that read it seems to think that it has some sort of meaning and relation to me...I don't.

good poem :) i understand the feeling of being "invisible" but i like how you put that feeling into a different (and creative) situtation. the flow is good, and it makes the poem sound really neat :) i like it! check out some of my work if you could, i would love your opinion.
