By diving in shallow waters

From a great height,

I was ought to be hurt.

By pushing the limits

Of a small life,

My sorrows couldn’t be curbed.

By lurking in the shadows

Without a flash,

I was ought to be scared.

By exploring life in stress

I was bound to crash,

While no one really cared.

Standing in the rain,

Will extinguish the flame.

All life will

One day be drained,

The remaining corpses

Will roam lame.

Being courageous and stepping out of your comfort zone doesn't always bring peace and satisfaction.
