Washing Machine
I love my beaming white socks but now they’re soggy and sad. Mixed with browns, greens, and worn down whites, I want them pure. Throwing them in the washing machine…I hit start…and watch them circle around, around, around. Pop! The door opens, my heart shatters. The machine gobbled my favorite soggy sad socks.
