Nobody could hear my cries at night
for I designed this mask to hide my lies.
nobody could see the pain
for I designed this mask to laugh
Nobody could hurt me with words
for I designed this mask to be strong

I am sad and lonely
having no one to turn to
since she has been gone
I wore this mask that always seem to make me feel less stressful
hide my feelings behind a lie you would say

Behind this smile, were tears
Behind my the comfort, were fears
my mask protects me from feeling
For every emotion lies into me
I can not help but hurt
for this mask hide my pain
no one can hear my screams
for I designed  this mask to be quiet.

Everything you think you see
Isn't everything their is to me
My body slowly numbs
for this mask that I designed
I designed perfectly for me.
I get tangled up inside
but you don't see it
for I designed this mask to hide the real me

It is hard for me to speek my mind in a world that is so judgemental.
