Try the words that hurt the most
Feel the wind that escapes
Live the moments that will truly die
Fuel the fire that shows the other side

Enter the realm where hope fades
Walk through the doors to escape
Find yourself in the doom that gives you shape
Let the tears flow as you lose your voice

Let the inward scream fill your lungs
Hold it in as you shall have to learn
Let the bombs explode as you lose yourself
Have your bones crushed by the acid that is your blood

Feel the pain to feel the hurt
Feel the hurt to uncover what was lost
Embrace yourself because what’s yours is yours
You cannot be taken away by this tide

I soooooooo agree. A lot of people don't know what true pain is like and it's something everyone should get used to or accept, I've done both. Pain is like a friend that I hate, always there and always familiar.

Interesting. I really like that you based your poem on facing the things that hurt the most, which is something many people need to learn. Great job!!
