Wrinkles
If your hands could speak,
then I could understand.
If your eyes would reveal a glimpse,
perhaps then, I may, listen.
If your skin, in aged repose,
should allow me a sensitive grace,
a precious, fragile memory;
Would I still meet your gaze,
the disappointed face,
the wrinkles sorrow has placed,
and not be ashamed?
