The Lion
The ferocious feline deep into the jungle among the greenery,
As if it was a crowd.
The lion fearlessly roaring,
As if he were a man cheering his team on.
Counting, trapping and killing his prey,
Boldly shouting 1-2-3 we want more!
The lion’s presence was endless,
Never held back by anything.
Frequently on the prowl,
As a fan exploring an arena.
Perfectly patient the lion waiting,
As everyone does for the next goal.
Overzealous when the leopards lay by his tree,
As if the opposing team has scored.
Warmth overcomes the lion,
As the crowd cheers back.
