Asphyxiated Dreams
Terror seeps through my veins
Anger goes through my head
Frustration accelerates my heart
Pain fuels my pleasure
In a world where darkness rules
In a world where no light passes
This is where you’ll find me
Somewhere deep inside
The only occupant here
In this dark, weary mind
The blackness suffocates
The light would set me free
Yet none can come in
For the gates are locked so tightly
Nothing can come through
Nothing can come out
What am I to do
When I’m all out of luck
