Blue Eyes
Was it really worth the fall?
Was it really worth the pain?
Do you not see that love drives people insane?
Why again do you think it’s called falling in love?
Love comes with scars that cannot be healed
Love comes with bruises
Love feels like steel
We get so blind
love comes with blue eyes
That we think are pretty
Which makes us pity
We think falling is somehow fun
That is why we like the taste of death
Where we like to run
Because running comes with love
Love makes us run
And I never knew love was a hunting sport
We are the gazelle looking for peace
Where love hides down
Not ready to cease
Because through it all
Was it really worth the fall?
Was it really worth kissing death?
I wish I knew it all
His blue eyes came wicked
And I blinded myself once again
Because the sky was pretty
The sky was blue
I wish I never fell in love with you
