Flying
There are many things that can be replaced
A heart isnt one of them
Because once its gone its gone and never coming back
Breaking a heart is the same as burning a letter
Pieces may remain but its gone forever
My heart once warmed those in need
But now I see my heart on the floor, all it does is bleed
I fear it may never recover
I tried to put it back together
But it was as useless as trying to live in a house of feathers
It continues to bleed as I cry
I thought it was the right thing to try
But now I realize I will never fly
Im glued to the grass
Forced to never move and watch the clouds pass
As others learn to fly
They fly hand in hand
As my prison tomb is sealed in sand
I feel my lungs feel with sand, but I dont resist
I realize it will stop my heart's pain so I accept it
