Broken Girl
You had that smile,
You were a cheerful person.
Always smiling,
Always laughing,
Always making jokes.
You made people laugh.Made me laugh.
Tha happy and lovable person I knew.
But when I looked into your deep dark brown eyes,
I saw who you really were.
In your eyes, I saw the only thing I never knew I could see,
Sadness,
Depression,
Angriness,
Lonelyness.
All does words hit me at once.
You disguised your sadness with smile.
You disguised your depression with a happiness.
You disguised your angriness by telling jokes and making people laugh.
You disguised your lonelyness by being with people who made you smile and laugh.
People that cared.
But all I saw was a broken girl
Who had no reason to smile
No reason to be alive.
Broken,
Broken.
It was all I saw.
It was all you were.
A broken girl.

What inspired me to write this poem was a real life event. I never knew that my best friend was depressed and lonely. Even when she smiled and told me that everything was alright. I never knew what she was doing until the day I saw it with my own eyes. Yes, she cutted herself because she said the pain made her feel better. I was heart broken but manage to put some senses into her. Now she is fighting it with me. And i will never leave her behind. Best Friends For Ever. I hope this poem makes people realize that not every body is okay when they tell you they are.
