MidnightStorm
MidnightStorm
Clouds rolled through the black sky
My wet hair wipes around my sodden face
Thunder roaring in my ear
Lightning flashing before my eyes
The chilling wind pounding at my body
Trees sway violently, threatening to break
Rain pouring off rooftops
Streaming down vacant roads
And flooding pavement drive ways
I look around at all these things
And can only watch as nature shows its beauty
And I turn around and walk inside
I take a bath then go to bed
And dream of the majestic sight
