I've lost my keys
I think I lost my keys
Have you seen yesterday's cheese?
My favorite sweater's been misplaced
Ugh I wish I could find my old toothpaste
The number of schoolwork, birthdays, and calls to
return that slipped my mind has no end
I've also seem to forgot a few friends
I still miss that unrecovered beau
Where did my faith in Santa, my parents, and God go?
I've lost track of my childhood- now time only disappears
My bright, vivid dreams have wandered to sad smears
I am older now (synonymous with having vanished hope in the word and it's people)
And I've learned that not only loss is seemingly dismal
