Echoing
I can hear screaming
echoing off the expansion of space.
That is my mind
continuing on...
Repeating
Never to end
No soul will ever hear it
But my own.
The notes are the only sound
that pierces through the black,
but only for a split second.
What may seem like a huge moment
is but a sliver
a hint
a shard of glass
hurling through eternity
Never to stop
But to echo
and echo
and echo
and echo
and echo
Until it is but a faint whisper
that will never quite disappear
It shall forever remain
Pulsing in the infinite eternity
Forever.
Can you hear it?
