Crush
I have to get to class now.
There will be work, the teacher's ramble,
Facing my peers will be a gamble,
But she will be there,
And her fiery red hair,
Let loose around her shoulders,
Or perhaps tied back,
To show off laughing eyes,
On her smiling face,
Her pure countenance,
To bright for my mortal eyes.
And that will be enough.
