Sad Happiness
Waiting for the sunrise
I hear a whisper in my ear
Of the death of my love
He's died of heart ache
The grief from his lies finally taking his life
I laugh in spite of it all
That I'd longed to be his
In my mind he got what he deserved
But secretly my heart will mourn for him
His soul wasn't bad
His heart true
He couldn't be with me
And this I knew
He loved me enough to let me go
Not to string me along
He tried to move on
And I cried at the news
But at his death I laugh
He's finally free
I can't wait for the day
When he'll be with me
Because death is only the beginning
And god will let me live
A happy life in his arms
And it will no longer be a myth
I'm glad that he died
Rejoice in the loss
Because I feel the freedom knocking at my door
Tomorrow is my last day
And he'll be mine forever more.
