Loving you
I don't remember what loving you was like
Or maybe I just forgot
But I do remember what it felt like to feel your hand
I remember how secure I felt
How safe.
And somehow you brought me to life
When I was already living
I remember what it felt like look at your eyes
To never get bored of the art gallery that flashed through them
The beauty of the grey blue ocean mixing with the sky, to blended for any person to comprehend.
Oh and that smile.
I thought it might kill me
It burned so bright right through my body
And set me on fire when the sun reflected off of it
It sent one type was of burning through me that I didn't mind
The type of fire that shouldn't be put out
It was enough to keep me warm but never uncomfortable
And you soaked me in a thick oil of compliments
To ignite the flame over me
The bright red shy blush that crawled up your cheeks
It made me melt for how shy you were around me
And your innocence seemed to give mine back to me.
Even when I questioned what I meant to you
Or if you were staying as loyal to me
As you were to your running coach
I refused to see the worst in you
Just as you had always done for me.

This poem is about the boy i have been dating for awhile now. He is really important to me and since im awful with emotions, i figured posting something about him that we will never need to know about is my best bet.
