i take a sip of tea
watch things change before my eyes
like with each slow rotation of the earth
something falls outta place
someone falls 6 feet under
its a domino effect

everyone in your life takes a piece of you
eventually leaving you alone
empty

nothing is right anymore
you see everything in a new light
or shall i say darkness
seems around every corner the light fades
you can't turn around
you can't head back towards the light
your only choice is to move forward
if you stay where you are
eventually the lights will just fade out completely

you move further and futher
feeling your way around
looking for a secret door
looking for the hand of someone
hoping they will pull you out
