A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.<br /> -Malcolm X

Morningrise
A whisper
Beginning amongst the soil
Through the heart of snow and ice
Neath the roots of fallen trees
Spirits are awakened
Amid rapid colorings
And dramatic paintings
Rendering the sky a dream of chaos
Through this clarity
We see seasons left at a standstill
Useless to the greater forces of nature
Awestruck as the human who passes below
The race cries out but the world remains silent
And yet there is a pause in his stride
He turns if only for a second, to gaze upon the creations of his sleep
The morningrise is quite beautiful
He would have said

This is certainly one of my favorites: &quot;I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.&quot; -2 Samuel 6:22

I really did enjoy the way you described the 'sunrise' as 'morningrise' it allowed you to incorporate so much more detail. It was a beautiful piece. I understood all that you wanted the reader to feel. Keep writing.

God bless,

This is truly fabulous. The imagery is so strong, I as though I am almost watching the morningrise beside the narrator. I really love this.

I'd really love if you took a look at my poetry; thanks!

What I liked about it is that the part about the seasons are beautifully crafted. One of the parts I didn't really understand though. but overall it is good

Hey, I really enjoyed this. There were a few parts there were a little confusing, but other than that, it was really good. The main reason why I liked it was the very fact that it was ORIGINAL. So many authors aren't original these days. Nice job! :)
