Deafening Silence

The quiet is so loud my ears burn
You don't notice
Lost in your own little world
Not a glance in my direction
Not a sound in this deafening silence
Time has ceased to exist, giving way to an abyss
A lone chasm of emptiness
The world is an empty void
No one laughs no one cries
Only I move in this icy dimension
Stillness
