Because of You
A home destroyed, a young girl cries
My mom is screaming, my dad tells lies
My heart is hurting, can’t stand the pain, no one knows...
Who’s there to blame?
I say its you, destroyed my life; you’re the one who made me cry
You frightened me forever; you’re the one who made me die.
I wonder if I should hate you
because of what you put me through
for every tear my mom had shed, I cried too
because of you.
Ceasing to exist, but still trying to resist
enduring humiliations, and yet you still insist
in making me feel worthless like I’m not a part of you
in making me feel guilty for the things I didn’t do.
