An event was located in the Forgotten Grotto,
But it wasn’t a place to wear a tie or bow.
This place was dedicated to the Roman King Otto,
Where legends start and champions grow.

Though the crumbling statues and flying dust gave a message to those,
To what happens in the area when one fails the test.
The ocean will shake and begin the rise of Aganos,
And turn those to stone and dust who disturb his rest.

In the grotto, the battles took place, nine rounds for each fight,
There are two teams of nine to match the rounds.
Each fight with a weapon that fits them right,
And the winners become legends and the losers become clowns.

But this time was different and the battle was a landslide,
With eight rounds down and thanks to one team’s greatest.
This redhead warrior’s name was Jade Backside,
She fights and wins on a daily basis.

But one man was left that she must beat to win.
He seemed the weakest among his team.
But he was the only one that prayed among the men.
His name was JJ the Scream.

The Lord loved JJ as JJ loved him,
He gripped his scythe tighty and jumped at the bell.
He fought Jade with power so dark and grim,
And won the battle, then backed away with a grin saying “Farewell.”

Aganos has awaken………...

The author's comments:

If you are familiar with the game "Killer Instinct," Then you must know the character Aganos. Well, this is something similar to the KI tournament but different. Apparently, this tournament goes like this: There are two teams of nine, one member fights at a time, the winner takes on the next member. But one the ninth round, the loser is sacrificed to Aganos, and like the stage ultra, he turns the loser to stone then disintegrates in a small wind.

So this warrior (Who happens to be a girl) is beating the life out of the opposing team and they seemed to be doomed to loose. But one of their members' was a religious type and seemed to be the weakest of the group. But he taught them that there IS a god, and it can be good to depend on him at times. And look where is got him, he won the match and Jade was the sacrificed one to Aganos.

NOTE: Although I am not a sexist or a religous type, I have respect for women and I do believe in god. I just don't pray much.

I wrote this poem for school by myself, while everyone had partners, but when it came to reading them outloud, my teacher said this was an example of a masterpiece. And it was the star of the event. What's funny is that when it came to stapling then to the wall, a friend of mine put a bunch of them on the poem cause it "deserved" to be on the wall. And when a girl ask if that was good enough, he said "No, it needs more." That was funny.

And I just want to point out I changed a couple things in there so it seems fresh to read.

But enough about that, please enjoy and make sure to comment and rate!
