Aurora
Sometimes it amazes me,
Just how much I miss you.
It’s the days where the clouds hover in their indecision,
Never knowing whether to move on, or to let themselves fall apart
And the drooping lilies in the garden
Remind me of nothing but our finite existences,
When I understand.
You were nothing but the northern lights
A shining, dazzling, positive force,
Waving in the night sky as if to say
“Hello.”
Only to simply disappear into the black.
