The Raven: Six Room Poem

Silken, sad purple curtains drape over the windows
Dark, wooden chamber doors stand in the entrance
A dim, burning fire slowly dies in the old fireplace
The creaky, dusty wooden floor stretches across the room

Hot, dying embers dimly lit the room

Silvery moonlight shines through the window, illuminating the home

A light tapping is heard from the chamber door
The dilapidated wooden floor creaks noisily when stepped on
A soft whispered echo of "Lenore" echoes outside
The dark ebony bird quotes repetitively, "Nevermore"

Is the raven really speaking, or is it all a dream?

The old house radiates eerie and evil emotions
The ebony raven causes angry, confused emotions
Is this bird the spawn of the Devil?

"Nevermore!"
"Nevermore!"
"Nevermore!"
