A Gift for Women
I love you, my black stretchy leggings.
I move, you move.
With comfort at every step.
Just like I am wearing my pajamas.
Yoga pants, I couldn’t possibly wear you in any other color than black.
Making it possible to wear you with anything.
You can either dress me up, or dress me down.
I can throw on a pullover and head for school,
or add a scarf and make my way for a night out.
I look acceptable.
I wasn’t sure if I should wear you today…
But there you were reassuring me that even though your wrinkly,
You smooth out as I put you on.
I wont have to iron.
There it is. You won.
I should just throw out all my jeans.
I love you, yoga pants.
I spend all of my money on you, you’re very expensive.
But well worth it.
I’m sorry that my boyfriend does not like you, he is jealous of you.
Maybe if you were made in his size, then he would understand why you’re the one.
