There for You
I wrote you a letter,
Over and over again,
Telling you things were getting better,
But my hands couldn't cradle the pen.
I decided to send you my heart,
Made it into some form of art,
But it was bledding; past repair.
Guess I was just stuck in despair.
So I rock back and forth in my chair,
Entirely wrapped,
Fixated on the air.
Some come and say that I've snapped,
But, quite honestly, I'm just trapped.
I'm stuck in our past,
And I want to move on.
This letter will be my last.
C'est la vie, I'm gone.
