The Definition of Beauty
The definition of beauty
is a personal choice,
and if you disagree,
I dare you-- raise your voice!
If you begin
to reject "what's within,"
you may start with skin,
and adore its radience,
and if dull, then replace
your love for skin with the face,
its wondrous, even balance,
and if imperfect, then size--
however you may percieve it--
as long as you not criticize,
otherwise, find the eyes,
and if they be blind,
then listen for diction,
and if the words are fiction,
if words are not kind,
then wait for them to breathe,
and if the pattern lulls,
then feel for a heartbeat,
and if there is no pulse,
then they must be dead,
and people like you and me
and the one you thought lacked beauty
will someday no longer be
much more than a memory.

No matter how flawed a person is, even in their character, they are still beautiful. Beauty can be seen in even the ugliest of people, because we are all beautiful through death. Death is the equilibrium.
