My Name is Sadness

Hello. My name is Sadness.
And Sadness is my name.
Don't try to make me change it
It will always be the same.
I remember it was a feeling
Started out like that, at least,
But then soon there wasn't anything
That could tame this wild beast.
I remember it would come and go,
That I could stop it just like that,
A happy thought would make it stop
Saddened thoughts would just fall flat.
Now there are no happy thoughts,
Or sad ones, not big or small
Because there is no sad or happy
When you don't feel anything at all.
