"I am as old as I've ever been, but I'm as young as I'll ever be." -Robert O'Neill

My heart is throbbing for something more
than this cold cruel world can give
I feel like I've been drained of purpose
and there's no reason for me to live

My heart is broken into peices
so small I cannot see
what lies ahead in my journey
and what you have planned for me

But in your hands you give me life
and help me find my way
you pick me up when I fall down
and show me love when I'm dismayed

So thank you God for all you do
and for all you've given me
I once was lost on a broken path
I was blinded but now I see

I wrote this poem to show what God has done for me and what he can do for you too.

just woah :o this is so beautiful and filled with emotions. You place great passion into your work. I just really like how positive this is also the message. Your faith seems strong. Nice job on your poem :)
